Through this award, we not only celebrate her vision but also raise seed funding to turn her idea into a business.

Each year, SheSTEAM selects a young woman entrepreneur in STEAM who is breaking barriers and building solutions in her community.
Through the Rising Star Award, we don’t just celebrate her achievements, we also raise seed funding to launch or grow her business.
Why This Matters
Many young women in Africa have the vision and skills to innovate but lack access to capital. The SheSTEAM Rising Star Award bridges this gap by giving her training, mentorship, and startup investment to transform her idea into a sustainable business.
